Should I Fix My Vintage Radio Myself Or Hire Someone?

Working on electrical equipment, can result in electric shock. If you’re not careful, poor repairs can exacerbate a problem. It’s advisable not to snoop about blindly if you’ve never done such work before and have little interest in learning how.

Why do you offer vintage, antique, transistor, & portable radio repair if there all the same thing?

Here’s a question I get asked often.  Its for SEO purposes which is just a fancy word for what shows up online when you search for something. Say you knew nothing about radios but you found one at a yard sale and wanted to get it fixed, so you searched up “portable radio repair” my site wouldn’t come up in the search results if I didn’t have a page on “portable radio repair”. So think of all 4 pages as the same thing, just different wording.

Another question I get asked often is; “If you only do transistor radio repairs how come you have pictures of tube radios on your site?”  it’s because even though at this time I only do transistor radio repairs I still like & collect tube radios. I also think there a important part of explaining the history of radio not to mention I may be doing outside repairs in the future.
